It's kinda stressing me
After some kilombs accessing my blogger account, I'm back posting here with my dear ol' glass o' wine... Now listening: Tangeringe Dream - "Solution of all problems". This wouldn't have happened without my new download rate of 1Mbit!!! It's kinda funny, because it's the top notch broadband contract one can achieve here in Uruguay. I won't start flaming the system and all the negative aspects of my country, It doesn't bother me now. Oh! "Task download finished!" It's "Fenriz Presents... The best of old school black metal" :P
Since this blog is something I maintain for myself and by myself (by the way), it's hard to figure out what things I actually DON'T know about myself. So I'll point down an interesting fact about my actual situation:
I'm kinda discovering influences around my already known influences, what is this? Well... some time ago I read a comment about Burzum: "Burzum became Dead Can Dance like became Tangerine Dream". So I decided to explore the different relationships between my old favourites and other related projects I didn't have the chance of listening to. I liked the few songs from Tangerine Dream my BitLord recently downloaded (I know they are from a new release, so they don't share much with Ambient/Black metal).
Another thing that made me happy is to know that my REAL one-man-project is really possible, Samael gave me that revelation. I know it isn't a solo project but the drummer actually is on the keys and samplers, the same as I. He don't play drums anymore, but the essence is still there, the sequenced drumming he did on "Passage" is real enough for me. I do not need a drummer anymore (something hard to concieve here in Uruguay, nice drummers are lacking all around the scene).
I've been having some trouble with my actual band "Dawn Of Defiance", personal differences with the frontman. Because of that I'm considering Child Of Bhaal to be my only link to music, so I am working harder on it (as I should have done always). Don't know what's next with DoD, I know I'll surely remain as guitarist. But it's not the same now, I have to separate a bit my will to grow up from my will for DoD to grow... that's Diego's work.
Hey, this compilation really kicks ass! It's not my vision of Black metal, but it's Fenriz' vision... and he truely lived those days. Hehe, Bulldozer's "Whisky Times" on the same album Burzum appeares is a bit crude to me! That's fucking heavy metal.
Ok, I'm outta here fella(s).
